While I admit that the new sports I am shooting are pretty cool, I couldn't just walk away from my favorite sport of all time. Gymnastics has been called 'the base sport for all other sports'. 'Tis true. If you can swing on a bar, flip on a beam, catapult yourself through the air using the board and vault, there is nothing you cannot do in life. Here's to the Michigan Wolverines for giving me such fantastic routines to view and skills to photograph! (Mmm, except for this photo, which is clearly the Minnesota team, but turned out so nice that I couldn't delete it.)
